Our location

We are located in Molini di Triora in the Argentina River valley

Molini di Triora, means 'mills of Triora' in Italian and there are 23 disused water mills here, some undergoing restoration, which used to grind the corn and olives grown in this region.  Molini is ideally situated halfway up the Argentina Valley, with great access from the A10 autostrada to Nice and Genova.  A new link road to the autostrada was built and opened weekending 14th November 2009 so by-passing Arma di Taggia on the Italian Riviera coast making for faster access.

Molini sits at a crossroads with access westwards over the Col Langan to Pigna and then descending to Ventimiglia, or if you take the eastern road over Passo Teglia this gives acces to Imperia and onto Turin.  Head north and its to the wild, more remote head of the valley, sparsely populated by people with "camosci" or chamois outnumbering people.

Down to the south along the main valley road (SP548) is Arma di Taggia on the coast just 4km along from sophsticated San Remo, famous for the finish of the Milan-San Remo classic bike race won in 2009 by Mark Cavendish.  Monaco is another 40km along the coast back to Nice.
Best route from autostrada is the SP548 road to Molini.
